If you’re like the average home buyer who has too little space on that bulky 15" monitor to open two browsers – one for scouting new listings and another to do valuation, comps, and sales research on Zillow.com – then we’ve got the perfect tool for you (and no, it’s not a 30 inch wide screen LCD monitor…).
Take a peak at Zip-2-Zillow, our newest member of Zillow Labs. Zip-2-Zillow allows you to instantly switch from looking at a listing on ZipRealty to the appropriate home details page on Zillow.com — all with one click. What’s even more exciting is that it is the first labs project that was not developed in-house!
Apparently, Ronald Ward (our guest developer) had the same problem when he found himself flipping between ZipRealty and Zillow and finally decided to hack something up. So here it is. With an ingenious name like that, how could you not check it out? Thanks Ron.
Also, if you haven’t kept up with all the cool ideas we’re baking up in Zillow Labs, you really should. Better yet, if you have an idea, share it with us at labs@zillow.com. We’re working on some new stuff for Labs too, so check back often!
