Top Viewed For Sale Postings
By: Whitney Tyner, PR Coordinator | August 16, 2007
Last week I received an email from a Zillow groupie desperate to learn the secret of getting on “the list.” Considering that only 5 homes in America earn the right to walk the red carpet of the Top Viewed For Sale homes each week, this is no easy task. Rather than suggesting you “buy a cooler house” (which seems horribly inappropriate) I have compiled some constructive advice on how to increase your chances of real estate stardom.
Speaking from experience (and using my most un-corporate spam sounding voice) I have to tell you that EZ Ads are a great method of increasing the exposure of your home. Evidence—for the past 4 weeks, homes with EZ Ads have been featured on Zillow’s top 5! It’s no conspiracy theory, the Top Viewed calculation does not play favorites and is based off the number of page views alone. But, considering that postings with an EZ Ad average 3 times as many page views as those without, it’s a great way to increase you chances.
This week, the savvy agent of the #1 viewed home in Seattle, WA purchased two separate EZ Ads, enticing 127 potential buyers to view her listing. Last week, the #1 home in Menifee, CA also ran an EZ ad. Starting to notice a pattern? As the blog author and list-master, I encourage you to to dress up your listing for the real estate after party and create an EZ ad today.

It’s insane to think of how much you can get for a house in certain areas. #1 looks 20x bigger than #3 yet it’s the same price, haha.
