Top 10 Most Popular Yards & Gardens on Zillow’s Dueling Digs

The sun is finally starting to shine on occasion here in Seattle (I use “occasion” generously here). It’s been enough, however, that I have started to get the yard work itch. I’m not sure about the rest of you, but for me this usually lasts through the first nice weekend; I head to the local nursery and pick up a handful of potted flowers, some seeds to grow herbs and if I am adventurous, a tomato plant or two. I get home and realize I need to do some weeding before I can start anything, which is actually sort of fun — for about 10 minutes. When it finally comes to plant, I can’t wait! Things are looking good — but I am pretty tired, so perhaps I’ll tackle the rest next weekend. Inevitably, there are always a few plants that never quite make it into the soil.
What does this have to do with Dueling Digs you may ask? Well the itch led me to look at the most popular Yards & Gardens on Dueling Digs; however I didn’t quite get what I expected. Instead of lawns that go on for miles with gardens waist high, I got pools. Apparently, for Zillow users, water of any kind in the backyard is the way to go, as the entire top 10 includes water of some sort. While they aren’t exactly what my dream yard might look like, I wouldn’t mind hanging poolside at any of these pads.

When Hiring a contractor one should perform a little do- diligence and investigate the contractor and their business. Especially after a peril from a storm or hurricane when there is not much time to decide and one must act quickly.
