Shaq “The Diesel” Might Help Foreclosure Victims

Last night, the storied Boston Celtic franchise celebrated its 17th NBA Championship by crushing Kobe Bryant and the L.A. Lakers 131-92. Meanwhile, Kobe’s former Laker teammate and the man of a thousand nicknames, Shaquille “Shaq” O’Neal, is making news for quite another reason — he’s the newest celebrity to face foreclosure. But this one has a new twist to it.

Unlike the misfortunes befallen other big Hollywood and sports celebs like Ed McMahon, Latrell Sprewell, Evander Holyfield and Jose Canseco, “The Big Aristotle” wants to use his wealth in helping thousands of Orlando area residents who are facing foreclosure.

And taking a cue from last night’s game, he’d better not be a one-man show if he intends to win at this challenge (sorry Kobe).
