Today’s Wiki Wednesday Feature: Owners Guide
There are tons of people out there who dream of buying a home. But once you find that dream house, what happens after your agent hands over the keys?
When my husband and I bought our first home five years ago, we had no idea what we were getting into. As anyone who’s owned a home knows, it’s a ton of work! There’s always something waiting to be done around the house — lawns to be mowed, weeds to be plucked, gutters to be cleaned. And not only did our house need a lot of upkeep, it also needed a major kitchen overhaul. It took three long, grueling months of eating only microwaveable food and cleaning our dishes in the bathtub, but we ended up with a beautiful new kitchen. The bathroom? It’s next. (Yes, remodeling can be addictive!)
