Explore Bird’s Eye View images, win a prize
By: Mary Miller Director, Product Management, Mortgages | April 17, 2006
By now, we hope you’ve discovered our new Bird’s Eye View images, which allow you to examine a home at an angle, see all sides of the home, and tell how it is positioned on the lot. These images are so clear that you might see some curious or interesting things as you explore – like a house with a missing roof, a garbage dump as a next-door neighbor, or even a tractor that has veered off course.
If you see something quirky, send us the address of the home or the URL to the page where you found the image. Include a brief description of what you’ve found (screen captures help, too). We’ll post out-of-the-ordinary Bird’s Eye View images here and send a $25 Amazon.com® gift card to those who submit the most interesting or unusual images. See the contest rules.

Hey Zillow guru’s. Wan’t to see a human laboratory in progress? See how people are having search problems with the local King, Snohomish and other county tax sites. For me, I thought, Viola! That’s why Zillow exists. Ease of use.
Visit http://seattlebubble.blogspot.com/ and go to the comments at the latest posting….where some discuss difficulty doing home searches on the county sites.
PS. If you continually pull sold data from NWMLS, or others and not also directly from county tax records, perhaps that is why many, myself included, do not see their home’s most recent sold history.
Regards,
Tim

Hi Tim, it’s Amy at Zillow. Our data is pulled directly from county records, so I’m not sure why we wouldn’t show your home’s recent transaction. Can you email me the info and I’ll look into it?

Actually, I thought that was a good question, Tim.
I was wondering why there was no sales info. listed on my house. Maybe because we bought it new?
