Zillow has a very difficult time attempting to correct its own errors. At a time like this when the market is so down, there is no excuse why zillow cannot make corrections.
I finally got zillow to correct “Westvale” to Valley West Drive on the map, but now when I click on my home for sale, it STILL states the incorrect street name “Westvale”. Try 2416 Valley West Drive, Santa Rosa, CA, and click on the homes. SAD. Owner Charles W. Brown
Charles-
I apologize for the issue with the homes in your area. I notice all the houses on your street have the same “Westvale Ct” as the street name. Did the street name recently officially change?
If so, this seems to be an issue where we have not yet received updated assessment records from the county–this issue should be corrected once our data providers pass on the updated county assessment records. Please note that county assessment records are updated much less frequently than sales transactions records. Depending on the county, sometimes only annually or bi-annually–so I can’t promise a specific date that the issue will be corrected.
Please let me know if the street has always been West Valley Drive and I will look into the issue further with our data team. Thank you for your feedback & please bear with us while we work through our data issues.
