Beer For Bloggers Event In New York City

Hello from Inman Connect in New York! I am staying at the conference hotel, the Marriott Marquis, where they must have had Al Gore himself come and wire the building for Internet, as it costs $16.95/day for Internet access. I begrudgingly paid it so that I could get this recap of the Beer For Bloggers event we hosted last night up in a timely fashion. So, yes, you are reading a $16.95 post right now.

When you are spending that much on Internet access, you have to make up the costs where you can. What better way to do this than by finding out where they are serving free beer, which is exactly what Inman Blogger Connect attendees got at the Beer For Bloggers event on Tuesday night. It was a great time to get acquainted (or reacquainted) with fellow Bloggers before the conference got started the next day.

It is commonly said in the world of Real Estate online advertising, that a picture is worth a thousand words. So rather than coming up with witty commentary about the event, I’ll just post some pictures and let them do the talking for the great time that was had by all! Thank you to all the Bloggers, and future Bloggers, that attended the event and we at Zillow wish you all the best in 2008!

    @Spencer: Starbucks here is really insane. A straight-up grande latte = $5.50! NYC is like little-London and they’re charging by the pound.

    Sara, Thanks for hosting the Beer with Bloggers event. It was great fun meeting you and the rest of the bloggers and a terrific way to kick off the Inman Real Estate Connect. Only the next day did we all find out that there was free wireless available through the conference!
