Are you a Right-Clicka or an iBook Flippa?

My recent Music Video (posted below) poses that question. Click the play button; I am the PC. This Rap is a spoof of Apple’s advertising campaign … you know, the commercials with the white background where the PC ends up looking foolish and the MAC is not really as cool as Apple would like it to be … As an ex-Microsoft employee, and an owner/user of both a MAC and a PC, I find the clash of these cultures both fascinating and ridiculous. You can catch the video and more at www.macorpc.org, which also hosts a picture game that attempts to unpack the psychology of “PC” vs. “MAC”.
Credits go to old friends Peter Furia (MAC, Producer) and David Fine (Director). I’ve embedded the video using Revver, but for those who want to view the Youtube version, you can find it here.
Music and humor have always been passions of mine outside of work (see my band Spaceship Excellent) and I’ve recently learned to blend these with my workspace. The result has been a creative tradition of “Zillow Raps”. Ask anyone who works here, and they’ll tell you about these performances at our launch parties and how they keep getting bigger and bigger. My goal is to eventually get everyone in the Company playing an instrument or rapping a verse. Come join us, and you may be the next featured artist.
