He sells millions of albums, but he’s had quite a time selling his Hollywood Hills home. Kanye West just slashed the price in his uber-modern mansion down to $3.3 million.
Now that West is soon to be a father, he’s likely in a hurry to get rid of the extra real estate. He hasn’t lived in the home in quite some time now; he originally listed the place back in 2010 for $3.995 million and unable to snag a buyer, took it off the market.
West picked up the home, located at 7882 Fareholm Dr, Los Angeles for just $1.75 million in 2003. Despite West’s star status, the home is relatively modest, measuring 4,214 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 4 baths.
Designed by Italian designer Claudio Silvestrin, the home is sleek, with “sophisticated minimalism” and “inventive” finishes. West’s unusual taste shows throughout the home, with whimsical cartoon prints and accents. Sitting on a lot with views from every room, the property is private, gated and has “room for a pool.”
