Mischa Barton’s Spanish-style home is back on the market — this time as a rental for $35,000 a month.
Best known for her role as Marissa Cooper on the hit TV show “The O.C.” in the mid 2000s, Barton bought the Beverly Hills home in 2005 for $6.4 million. Just five years later, she stuck it on the market for $8.695 million. With no buyers, she tried listing it again in 2011. Now after a brief respite, she’s trying the rental route to get the home off her hands.
The vine-covered home, located at 2670 Bowmont Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 is situated in the gated neighborhood of Bowmont Estates in Beverly Glen. Measuring 7,607 square feet, the house has 8 bedrooms, four of which include ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom has dual bathrooms, a fireplace and dressing room. The landscaped grounds include a pool, spa, grassy yard and vine-covered patio.
Following the success of “The O.C.,” Barton has starred in a number of small films, including “Closing the Ring” and “Virgin Territories.”
