Many homes are called “one-of-a-kind,” but this real estate listing catchphrase is often applied to undeserving properties, despite their million-dollar price tags.

A riot of color and varying textures, the Agoura estate was the masterpiece of a local architect, says listing agent David McLaughlin.
“They wanted something unique,” explained McLaughlin. “Every room looks like a different time period.”
