Sharon Stone Lists Beverly Hills Home for $8.995 Million
Actress Sharon Stone’s Mediterranean estate has hit the Beverly Glen real estate market for $8.995 million. The super-private compound is a typical piece of celebrity real estate, set back behind a gated driveway, hidden behind walls and secluded from neighboring properties.
Best known for her breakthrough role in “Basic Instinct” with Michael Douglas as well as the star-studded film “Casino,” Stone’s home in Beverly Glen is stocked with celebrities; Dr. Phil and Heidi Klum and Seal previously had homes there. Famous homeowners, premier mansions and prime views put current median Beverly Glen home values at $1,214,300.
Stone’s house is listed at a loss; according to the L.A. Times, Stone bought the 7-bedroom, 8.5-bath home in 2006 for $10.995 million. This isn’t Stone’s only home in Beverly Hills; she owns another property that she picked up in 1995 for $3.2 million.
Built in 1991, the home sits on 4.85 acres at the end of a private road. The property includes a large motor-court, with covered parking for 14 vehicles, lush landscaping and winding pathways over bridges, as well as waterfalls, a fruit tree grove, meditation garden and tennis court.
The interior of the home is just as luxurious with high ceilings, a paneled library with built-in bookcases, and living room with wet bar. The home’s master suite includes a fireplace, dual bathrooms and dressing rooms as well as an enormous private terrace.
The listing is held by Joe Babajian of Rodeo Realty.
