Wayne Brady’s home looks like many celebrity homes in Los Angeles: gated, situated on nearly half an acre with views of downtown. What sets his home apart however, is a grand version of a kids treehouse in the backyard. The four-room tree fort looks like something out of Disneyland with cartoon-peaked roofs and crooked windows.

Brady first gained popularity with stints on the improvisation show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” From there he moved on to his own self-produced and written “The Wayne Brady Show” and then took over for long-time host Monty Hall in the TV game show “Let’s Make a Deal.”

The house was built in 2004 and Brady picked it up in 2005 off the Sherman Oaks real estate market for $2.55 million. It looks like Brady and his agent are pricing the estate true to median Sherman Oaks home values, which have dropped 5 percent year-over-year.

Brady’s 5-bedroom, 5-bath home has over 5,000 square feet of living space, featuring a grand and open floor plan with high ceilings and windows, custom lighting, and an enormous kitchen and dining area. The master bedroom has a sitting area with fireplace, media center, walk-in closet and “spa-style bathtub.”
