Celebrity Dads and Their Homes
Father’s Day is fast approaching and we see there’s a plethora of celebrity dads out there — many who will be celebrating Father’s Day for the first time. Here are some homes of celebrity dads who have been making some real estate moves and maybe one dad will even score a sale on his special day.

Father of one
Pirates of the Caribbean hunk, Orlando Bloom welcomed his first son, Flynn, into the world in January. One thing he and his model wife, Miranda Kerr, are hoping to say farewell to is Orlando’s Hollywood Hills home. The gated, .75-acre estate is currently on the Los Angeles rental market for $18,000/month and Bloom has been patiently waiting for some deep-pocketed tenants for almost 5 months. The property consists of a 1-story, 3,250-sq ft home with a gourmet kitchen, outdoor dining patio with built-in barbecue, library, and swimming pool. Property records show Bloom swooped the bachelor pad up in 2007 for $2.75 million.

Father of three, soon to be four
Soccer stud David Beckham may be an international celeb (and human eye candy) but to his three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz, he’s just “Dad.” This Father’s Day round, Beckham decided to preemptively treat himself and his soon-to-be six-member family (wife, Victoria Beckham, is expecting their fourth child this summer) to a little summer vacation by way of a $158,000/month Malibu rental. Beckham’s Malibu rental is a modern beach retreat that sits on 1.11 acres and contains 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms within its 10,180 sq feet. We can’t be sure what the kids have planned for Papa Beckham this weekend, but it sure won’t be hard for him to catch some solid R & R at this pad before and after the festivities.

Father of one
Wedding Crasher funny man, Vince Vaughn, joined the Dad’s club at the end of last year, welcoming his first daughter, Locklyn Kyla, into the world with wife, Kyla Weber. In addition to taking on the responsibility of being a new father, Vaughn is also in the wake of becoming a landlord. The 41-year old actor recently put his 4,000-sq ft townhouse (above) on the Chicago real estate market for $8,000/month. The landlord role, fortunately, is something Vaughn has experience with. He reportedly rented out his River North pad last summer for $7,000/month.
Seal’s home (above)
Father of four
Seal is best known in the music world for his chart-topping single “Kiss From a Rose.” To a broader crowd, however, his familiarity is linked via marriage to supermodel and “Project Runway” star, Heidi Klum. With four kids under the power couple’s wing (one from a previous relationship of Klum’s), Father’s Day is sure to be a busy one. Hopefully it is busy with fun and not home improvement projects, though. As previously reported, the Klum clan recently listed their home in Beverly Glen (pictured above) for $6.9 million. This is only a half-dozen months after the couple purchased a gorgeous piece of Los Angeles real estate inside the gated community of Brentwood Country Estate. They acquired their new digs in a foreclosure auction for $14.2 million.
Neil Patrick Harris’s home (above)
Father of two
“How I Met You Mother” star, Neil Patrick Harris, is also celebrating Father’s Day for the first time this year. The 38-year-old actor and partner, David Burtka, welcomed twins, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace, into their family in October 2010. On top of his new daddy duties, the award-winning actor still finds time to record his hit CBS sitcom, host the Tony Awards, and even sell his ranch-style house in Studio City… for a profit. Selling in April for $1,570,000, public records show Harris purchased the half-acre property for $1.5 million in 2007. It came on the Studio City real estate market asking $1,599,000. So, despite the 5-digit discount, Harris still managed to walk away with some extra green.
Javier Bardem’s home (above)
Father of one
Smoldering Spaniard Javier Bardem took the fast track down family lane this past year, marrying fellow Spanish actress Penelope Cruz in July 2010. The couple later announced they would be expecting a “plus one” in a few months. Bardem and Cruz are now parents to their first son, Leo Encinas, who was born in January 2011. Their newly expanded family perhaps prompted the stars to start looking for a more family-friendly home. The 3,334-sq ft house Cruz and Bardem share has been on the Hollywood Hills real estate market for almost four months now, recently taking a price cut from $3,695,000 to $3,150,000. Public records show the Balinese modern-style home was purchased by Cruz in 2005 for $3,138,030.
Sylvester Stallone’s home (above)
Father of five
Would you rather have Rocky or Rambo as a father figure? For the five kids under Sylvester Stallone’s watch, they don’t have to choose. The all-time action star and Hollywood icon gets to celebrate a two-fold Father’s Day with two sons from his first marriage, and three daughters with his current wife, Jennifer Flavin. As it turns out, Stallone is perhaps hoping Father’s Day will bring him some extra luck in real estate, as he recently put two properties on the Westlake Village real estate market. The first is Stallone’s lake house estate, which features a 3,600-sq ft, 3-bed, 3-bath main house, a guest house, caretaker’s cottage, and a boat house. The second property is an adjacent lot, which is also Stallone-owned. It’s for sale for $1.4 million.

Dennis Quaid’s home (above)
Father of three
Actor Dennis Quaid plays dad both on and off the big screen. Perhaps known best as Pop to the double dose of Lindsay Lohan in the family favorite remake of “The Parent Trap,” Quaid is also a real-life father of three. His first son, Jack, is from his marriage to actress, Meg Ryan. He later expanded his family tree with current wife Kimberly Buffington, adding a set of twins to the mix – Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace.
The power of three is apparently a recurring theme in the 56-year-old’s life as he just chopped $3 million off the asking price of his luxurious equestrian estate. The price dropped from $16.9 million to the current list price of $13.9 million. The Houston-born star is reportedly cutting his Pacific Palisades real estate ties to move back to Texas and be closer to his family.
