Hilary Duff Buys a Beverly Hills Home for $3.85 Million

Former Disney actress/multi-platinum singer Hilary Duff, 22, and Edmonton Oiler fiancé Mike Comrie, 29, are treating themselves to an early wedding gift with the recent purchase of their colonial-style mansion in the star-studded Summit community of Beverly Hills.

Duff reportedly paid $3.85 million for this 5,260 sq ft home that has 5 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms and features a grand two-story entrance, gourmet kitchen, family room with wet bar, large swimming pool and outdoor fireplace and seating area perfect for entertaining.

HollywoodLife says Duff wants a small, traditional wedding sometime later this year. The happy couple has been dating for more than two years before the New York hockey star popped the question to Duff while vacationing in Maui, Hawaii. He accompanied his surprise proposal with an amazing 14-carat diamond ring.

The soon-to-be newlyweds are joining quite the high-profile neighborhood with pop icon Britney Spears right next door and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale a few blocks down in a 9,000 sq ft home on Crest Place. Not to mention Jennifer Love Hewitt, Woody Harrelson and John Stamos are just around the corner.

Records show this isn’t Duff’s first Summit Circle purchase. According to Real Estalker, Duff bought a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in 2006 for $1.65 million where she lived with her older sister Haylie Duff.
