Parenting’s Best Cities for Families 2010

The website and magazine Parenting has released the 2010 edition of their annual list of the best cities for families, in which they take a list of the top 101 cities by population, add a few well-known smaller ones while taking out some proximate ones, and rank them based on metrics of health, safety, economy, education, and recreation. First place went to the magnificently historic city of Arlington, VA, and Zillow’s hometown of Seattle, WA ended up beating New York City by one, coming in at a respectable 28th place.
