Thirty-Year Fixed Mortgage Rate Remains Unchanged at Record Low Level; Current 30-Year Fixed Rate is 4.58%

Mortgage rates for 30-year fixed mortgages were unchanged this week, with the current rate borrowers were quoted on Zillow Mortgage Marketplace at 4.58 percent. This rate ties the lowest rate recorded since Zillow Mortgage Marketplace launched in April 2008.

The 30-year fixed mortgage rate was volatile throughout the week, reaching as high as 4.65 percent on Friday.

Additionally, the 15-year fixed mortgage rate on Tuesday morning was 4.03 percent and for 5/1 ARMs, the rate was 3.54percent.
